In July 1996, the Indians opened Victory Field after spending many years at Bush Stadium. In early 2017, after more than 20 years of using an on-premise phone system, the Indians realized they needed to replace it.

For fans, there was a need to communicate weather information for rain delays or other important messages. The Indians needed a Call Center solution to provide information and analytics to balance calls for season ticket sales, individual ticket sales, events, and group sales. The sponsorship and operations staff also needed a system that would allow flexibility and mobility while out of the office meeting with sponsors, attending events, and especially while hosting 70+ home games a year.
